How to sign up to trade crypto on Webull. If you haven’t already notice by now, Webull rolled out the ability to trade crypto on its platform. That is basically trading cryptocurrencies and they only have the popular ones like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin cash and Lite coin. That’s an obvious pro, but there are cons to it. I just want to make sure you know what you’re getting yourself into before signing up.
First things first, they are not FDIC or SIPC insured meaning that if there’s anything wrong with it like a cyber-attack, you get hack, or the institution runs out of fund, you’re basically not going to get your money back. And again, Crypto is totally separate from your actual stock account or your retirement account, those on the other hand, are insured. Crypto is relatively new and it’s unregulated so there’s not a lot of standard or regulation in place. And also, this isn’t like your wallet where you can use it to buy stuff. You don’t have an address to send money or receive money. You don’t actually own the cryptocurrency itself, instead you can only trade within the platform, of course you can make money by just buying low and selling high and the money or profits you make, will just be in your general account.
So I just wanted to throw that out before you sign up with Webull’s Crypto platform. It’s fairly easy to sign up. And you’ll get approved fast. Well, at least for me.
